PDFill PDF Editor is a lightweight desktop program used to modify existing PDF text, type onto flat layouts, and create interactive form fields. Unlike cloud-based tools, it operates via a project-based system where you import a PDF, lay your modifications on top, and export a clean finalized copy.
Here is how to navigate editing and form creation within the software. Starting a Project
Open an existing file: Click File > New Project to Open a New PDF to pull a document into the workspace.
Start from scratch: Click File > New Project with Blank Page if you want to layout a document from a clean canvas.
Resume adjustments: Choose File > Open an Existing Project to open a native .pfl project file to modify previously added layers. Editing Existing PDF Content
PDFill manages edits using structural manipulation tools available under its top menus:
Modify Original Text: Select the original text selection tool, right-click the text block, and select Replace with a styled New SingleLine Text to change standard typography.
Redact Sensitive Data: Use the PDF Redaction / PDF Eraser tool to permanently delete or whiteout text blocks, images, or legacy form blocks.
Alter Form Fields: Click an existing form block, right-click its top border, and choose Make Current Original Form Field Editable to alter parameters or delete fields entirely. Formatting and Adding Elements
